On Friday 17th December at 11am and 7pm, the St Mary’s Cathedral Choir will be joined by the Sydney Youth Orchestra, as they perform some of the most loved Christmas music at the annual ‘Cathedral Christmas Celebration’ concert.Christmas music will be interspersed with seasonal texts, read by prominent figures representing different sectors of public life. Whilst audiences obviously enjoy listening to the readings, and hearing the Cathedral Choir and orchestra, they love lending their own voices to those of the choir to sing all their favourite carols in the baroque splendour of St Mary’s Cathedral. An evening of festive cheer that has become a beloved part of Sydney’s Christmas tradition.
